As it has been so long, I thought I'd give a little update as to what our lovely Liam has achieved in the last month. It's amazing, since he turned 8 and a half months, so many little milestones have been stepped on by his little feet!
Liam can now wave at people he knows (and even pictures on the wall?!), he sits up well and often likes to nod his head, this often happens when he hears music! He does this really cute thing where he tilts his head toward his right shoulder and gives a gorgeous smile to the person playing with him very often too, we call this the "Prince Charming" look!
Liam's first tooth is starting to make an appearance too, it's the right tooth on his bottom jaw. Finally! He's been having so many teething signs for the last 4 months! He can pick up small objects in each hand and bang them together, enjoying the noise he is creating (see the video clip below for this action!)
He is beginning to clap his little hands, but isn't able to make them meet together yet, they keep missing each other! Today at swimming class he even sat in a crawling position on the special platform over the water, it was beautiful! But no, no crawling yet! He is also starting to lift his arms up to you when you are going to pick him up...
Liam is a gorgeous baby boy, inside and out. He's a happy little soul and is lately really starting to show us who he is (and I'm sure, he's finding out he's a little person in his own way too!) The sweetest thing Liam is probably doing lately though, is showing more and more affection for his mumma and pappa... he buries his head in my chest, blows little raspberries and then looks at us laughing! He loves it when his daddy (pappa) tickles him and plays peek a boo too.... to Marcus and I, the sound of his little giggle is the best sound in the world...
Pappa, is that you? Liam sitting with mummy and waving at his daddy
